through the falling raindrops
of which there are no lack

atmospheric, water
in the Sun's embrace
has just about brought a
smile from outer space

a spectral vision,
colours in the sky
a celestial incision
of wonder in a sigh

but there's not enough sunshine
although within my head
almost a rainbow
to wonder me has led

almost a rainbow
although not quite the same
is an inner vision
in the falling rain...
